I don't know. That's the honest answer. Maybe the alcohol doesn't affect your stomach. But usually, what happens when you drink (And I know this from experience) is that you drink and do stupid stuff. You eat a burger and fries in less than 3 minutes without chewing. You have sugary drinks, choose bad food, act recklessly, which causes worry and anxiety.
You make stupid decisions when you drink. And maybe those stupid decisions are worst than the alcohol itself.
I think in moderation can be ok. But are you getting hammered from time to time? Then maybe you should rethink your habits and life situations. Maybe you're drinking too much because something is lacking in your life? Maybe drinking is a coping mechanism?
I think this is one of those things you have to communicate with your own body. Be honest, and you will come up with the correct answers. Some people smoke cigarettes when they drink. That's the biggest NO NO!
