What should I eat if I have Crohn's disease and Ulcerous colitis?

Two plates of oats with raspberries and milk

Here's the list of what I eat to improve my Crohn's disease condition. There are so many great things you can eat. Overnight oats. Salads. I don't know if your stomach can handle these things, but I always put them in my salad: beetroot, carrots, cabbage, kale, quinoa, spinach, and avocado. I like my green smoothie, coconut water, apples, lemon, ginger, turmeric, spinach, and avocado. That's a mineral and vitamin boost for you right there. Add some VSL3 probiotics, and I bet your stomach will thank you. I also love stews with rice. I think eggs are super. I make stews on organic and grass-fed meat.

I love overnight oats. They are a great source of fiber, and they do not bother my stomach.

I also love fish. A whole grilled fish always works for me, and I never feel bad after eating it. Quite the opposite, I feel easy and light after eating grilled fish.

I try to eat an apple a day. It works for me, but you must feel it works for you.

I also love soups. I make my own broth from elk bones, carrots, beetroot, onion, and garlic. That broth is both healthy and tasty. Then I add carrots, potatoes, and herbs to the broth.

One of my favorites is vegetables in the oven. It feels so light.

A green smoothie a day does wonders for me. I slow-juice celery and carrots, put the juice in a blender, and then add coconut water, spinach, avocado, lemon juice, ginger, turmeric, and apples.

I also try to eat a salad a day. I'm careful not to overeat heavy fibers. Green leaves usually work well for me. Uncooked broccoli upsets my stomach for sure.

Fish. Sushi has always worked for me.

I strongly suggest you keep a food diary.
